Montana Wedding at The Public House

Montana Wedding at The Public House

One of my favorite perks about being a Montana wedding planner is the year round natural beauty. Most Montana brides choose the summertime as nothing can beat a Montana summer, but there is something so raw and beautiful about a Montana winter. For this particular styled shoot, I teamed up with a number of talented Missoula, Montana wedding vendors at the end of dreary February. I particularly loved working with our photographer, Beth Waldron for this shoot. I met Beth at a Montana wedding networking event last fall and immediately knew that her style would be perfect for this dramatic theme.

The inspiration behind the shoot was the nature surrounding us during the dark months of winter– with all greenery being foraged by Carly Rogers with Killing Frost Farm. We had so much fun playing with the branches and moss for the table and dessert display. She even created a lichen crown for the bride and groom! She then incorporated dried floral into the garland bouquet… my absolute favorite part of this shoot!

Ana Marie Dowaliby with August and Stone Design Co. was the master behind the industrial modern invitation suite, the subway tile place settings and the glass dessert menu.

The rentals from Stephanie at Vintage 44 pulled together the Montana Wedding industrial look perfectly with hints of metallic geo terrariums, farm table, vintage crates and metal dessert cart. Jenny, owner of The Poppy Bakery impressed us all with her desserts galore! The dessert cart is covered in truffles, chocolate chip potato chip cookies, s’mores cake, Whyte Ladie gin cake, and chocolate orange cheesecake.

Not only did these desserts look incredible, they tasted even better. What a fabulous way to celebrate a successful shoot. Huge thanks to all the vendors that were involved in this Natural Winter Montana Wedding Shoot!
